Youth Group

We have some changes coming your way due to COVID-19.  For Fall 2020, Youth Group will meet weekly on Sundays from 4:30 - 5:30 pm with Middle School and High School trading off each week and there will only be 20 spots available each week. Youth and their families will be required to sign a Youth Group Covenant and COVID-19 waiver and reserve their spot before attending Youth Group.

Acolyting

During the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services, acolytes (5th through 12th-graders) carry the candles (torchbearer) and the cross (crucifer) in the procession while older youth assist the clergy in setting the Eucharistic table.

St. Paul’s has an amazing crew of dedicated acolytes and we are always happy to add to our ranks.  If you would like to learn more about acolyting, contact our verger, Heidi Schneble (

Mission Trips & Pilgrimages

Mission trips offer a unique opportunity for students to be immersed in a new part of the world, away from the distractions of daily life.  In this environment students are free to go deeper in their connections with others and in their connection with God.  By serving their "neighbors" in homeless shelters, orphanages, kids camps and through home improvement projects, a heart to serve others can blossom.

Likewise, a spiritual pilgrimage can bring students a unique encounter with God.  Filled with time for learning about those faithful who have gone before us as well as practicing new faith disciplines, pilgrimages can be transformative experiences.

The schedule for these activities (open to students in grades 8-12) include a mission trip every summer for 3 years then a pilgrimage in the 4th year.  The design is in hopes that each high school student can participate in both during his/her time at St. Paul's!
